The EU again allowed the import of Ukrainian chicken
The European Union as a whole, except for certain regions, has lifted the ban on poultry exports from Ukraine, since no cases of bird flu have been recorded in the country since February 2017.

“Thanks to the adoption of measures provided for in the instructions for the prevention of bird flu and the effective work of the State Food and Consumer Service since February 2017, no cases of bird flu have been recorded in the state, therefore the European Union as a whole, except for certain regions, has lifted the ban on poultry exports from Ukraine,” he said at the board meeting Boris Kobal, Director of the Department of Food Safety and Veterinary Medicine of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
