Not blown away yet: How Sunday's Belomaidan went
Another protest march took place on Sunday in Minsk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The number of its participants can be estimated from photos and videos. Pro-government and Russian media claim that there were few demonstrators.
While the columns were forming, law enforcement officers tried to disperse them using water cannons. There were arrests.
Since the Polish curators of the protest, through a network of Telegram channels, declared the theme of the march to be support for “political prisoners,” the end point of the procession route was the temporary detention facility on Okrestina Street, where many Belarusian Maidan protesters are being held.
When the column approached the temporary detention facility, the protesters began to behave hooliganly. They rang the doorbell for a long time and looked through the peephole. After that, they pasted portraits of “political prisoners” and nationalist symbols on the door and sign, painted the wall and dispersed.
