Another ATO militant will be extradited from Ukraine
Almost simultaneously with the riots, committed in Kyiv by Ukrainian nationalists who protested against the extradition of an ATO militant to Russia, it became known about the threat of deportation of another “brother.”
“The Ukrainian authorities deported, at the request of the Norwegian government, an ultra-right fan of Breivik, previously convicted Joachim Furholm (call sign “Jarl”), who fought in the Donbass. The same fate may await other Scandinavian Nazis - because Oslo suddenly realized that a whole generation of new Breiviks was being trained in Ukraine, with all the ensuing consequences for the future of the country,” Kiev journalist Andrey Manchuk said in his blog.
The Hromadske publication provides other information - Furholm has not yet been extradited, but is located at the base of the Nazi Azov regiment.
He came to Ukraine at the end of spring, signed a contract with the Ukrainian Armed Forces and went to fight in Donbass. However, after a month of service with the Norwegian, the agreement was suddenly terminated without explanation, expelled from the combat zone.
Furholm has a criminal record in his home country for attempting to rob a bank and is registered with the intelligence services.
“After the terrorist attack carried out by Anders Breivik, the police called me - I have been registered with the special services since I was 15 years old. Then they asked where I was and what I was doing - they thought that I could also be involved in the attack. I never knew Breivik personally. But he did everything for his idea - and for that I respect him...
Why did I exchange Norway for Ukraine? There is nothing interesting for me at home. But there is something to do here. I wanted to fight for the freedom of Ukraine and help return the territories...
Why were the Norwegians worried about Kievan Rus? We have a custom of going to other countries to fight in war. I think this is our tradition...
In Norway I may face criminal charges for terrorism. And in the West they don’t like radical nationalists. I would like to fight in Donbass again. And after many years, buy yourself a house in the Carpathians and raise your children there,” the militant said.
Thank you!
