Kyiv, June 28 (Navigator, Vladimir Raichenko) - “Old Europe” has gone into insanity and is obliged, for the sake of the European Ukrainian people, to enter into a possible confrontation with Russia, fraught with dire consequences for the European Union. This was stated by the director of the Institute of National Remembrance, Vladimir Vyatrovich, speaking from the stage on Maidan on the occasion of the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU.

He called the signed document on association with the EU “a most important act,” but at the same time allowed himself a number of unflattering statements about the European Union.
“Indeed, especially the so-called “old Europe” looks, perhaps, crazy, has lost its mind and has become insanity, because it advises us to invite Medvedchuk to negotiations, signs some agreements on South Stream and is ready, for example, to sell France (Russia - Ed.) warships that can be used against us,” Vyatrovich said.
Despite the above, he believes that Ukraine “should have returned to Europe,” but, nevertheless, puts forward a number of conditions to the EU.
“We, as the European people, now have the right to remind Europeans that European values must be paid for,” the director of the Institute of National Remembrance is convinced. – You, representatives of European states, will have to pay for upholding European values, possibly through certain conflicts with the Russian Federation. You may have to pay with shrinking markets and increased unemployment that will be associated with the introduction of sanctions against Russia. But we, Ukrainians, have the right to demand this from you, because we paid for these European values with our lives in this place.”
