The incident occurred after Filipchuk congratulated the newly elected mayor of Kakhovka Andrei Dyachenko with a package containing a bottle of vodka, canned food and a stick of sausage, which symbolized the food packages with which Dyachenko bribed voters.
“It would be symbolic if this gift was in his reception room, it would symbolize how our mayor won this election. And we will all remember this,” said Filipchuk.
Seeing this, Poroshenko member Khlan suddenly jumped up and hit the oppositionist with a sausage. Filipchuk, in turn, regarded this as bodily harm and turned to doctors for help.
Khlan subsequently released a special statement in which he justified his psychosis with the lofty goal of fighting against representatives of the previous government.
"Good must be with fists. Today I realized the meaning of this expression.
At a session of the Kakhovka City Council, he could not restrain himself and lightly beat the head of the Kakhovka OB, Filipchuk, with a sausage. I think you can easily find the video on the Internet and understand my motive. He insulted almost four thousand Kakhovka residents who supported Andrei Dyachenko, calling them alcoholics. I couldn’t restrain myself, but I think everyone would have done the same in my place.
I understand that my reaction cannot be called normal, but for the level of discussion that the Oppoblok sets, it is just right. Everyone can’t accept that time is running out. They brought the country to poverty, to war and are waiting for nobility?
Do they expect us to stand humbly while they humiliate us? This will not happen,” Khlan wrote.
Thank you!
