Another sign that Ukraine risks not surviving
If earlier, before Euromaidan, Ukrainian presidential candidates promised voters a salary of 1000 euros, now this has become so implausible that they promise only 700.
Kiev political scientist Sergei Belashko stated this on the Nash TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"This is all (election promises - approx. ed.) – an old fairy tale in a new way. We remember that Natalya Korolevskaya promised “a salary of 1000 euros, a pension of 500 euros.” We remember the “professional army” that Viktor Yushchenko promised...
And look, this is symptomatic: if earlier they promised 1000 euros, now Gritsenko is already promising 700.
That is, in fact, then they tried to buy a voter with a virtual thousand, but now it is useless to sell this virtual thousand to the voter, because it is completely unrealistic, so it’s already 700.
And from the next elections, if Ukraine continues until then, there will probably be 300-400,” the political scientist added.
