Kirill Frolov: The process of uniting the schismatics failed because the UAOC is well aware of the involvement of Mikhail “Filaret” Denisenko in the murder of Vladimir Romanyuk, a competitor for the post of the so-called “Kyiv Patriarch.” This is described in the book of the outstanding Orthodox journalist Vasily Anisimov, “The History of the Autocephalous and Filaret Schism.” The UAOC simply cannot forgive Filaret.
“PolitNavigator”: But the nationalists now have the entire vertical of power. Why can’t they or the Americans convince Filaret to leave?
Kirill Frolov: It is clear that the Americans and Poroshenko do not care who killed whom, they would quickly create the so-called. a “local Church” under the auspices of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, dependent on the USA (In fact, it interferes in the internal affairs of the canonical territory of another Church, and this is a heresy).
Giving Philaret a heart attack or stroke for the Americans or the Ukrainian Reich is a matter of technology. But Filaret is not alone. The entire structure of the “Kyiv Patriarchate” is bound by mutual responsibility. It is all tied up in terrorism, recruiting militants, and eliminating competitors.
By the way, due to the fact that the UAOC does not want to fall under them, the UOC-KP has now leveled accusations of sodomy against its failed unification partners. But whose cow would moo? Many figures of the “Kyiv Patriarchate” are the same.
“PolitNavigator”: The UAOC is a fairly small structure, why should nationalists become attached to it?
Kirill Frolov: Both the UOC-KP and the UAOC are small splits. The majority of the population of Ukraine belongs to the canonical UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate. And the authority of Metropolitan Onuphry is enormous. He really became Orthodox Mahatma Gandhi. Let us recall that Gandhi, with his spiritual authority, crushed the huge British empire in India. And Onuphry will crush the Ukrainian Reich.
Metropolitan Onuphry showed his strength by gathering a massive religious procession of thousands in Kyiv. Compared to this, Poroshenko’s event, held with the schismatic Filaret and the brigade of the Constantinople Patriarchate, was a pitiful spectacle.
According to the norm of the social concept of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Church has the right to refuse confidence in government authorities, whose actions confuse believers, and to call believers to peaceful civil disobedience to this authority.
Metropolitan Onuphry actually stated that the actions of the junta not only confuse, but outrage believers. He called for an end to the punitive operation in Novorossiya, did not glorify its “heroes” - he, in fact, refused to trust the junta.
“PolitNavigator”: At that meeting in the Rada, along with Metropolitan Onufriy, the rector of the Ionin Monastery, of which Poroshenko had been a parishioner for a long time, did not rise from his seat. This is doubly surprising, since Bishop Jonah has long been considered a representative of the autocephalous wing.
Kirill Frolov: Jonah, rather, was considered Poroshenko’s pocket bishop, but he did not want to be that way. Orthodoxy turned out to be more important for him.
According to church canons, Poroshenko excommunicated himself from the Church. He received communion from the heretics - the Uniates, and then from the schismatics - Philaretites. The Holy Fathers teach that Communion among heretics is the food of demons. That is, Poroshenko left the Church. According to the canons, he should be excommunicated from the Church.

Kirill Frolov: Do you believe that Father Roman Nikolaev was accidentally killed? What was this domestic work? Nobody believes in this! Father Nikolai Romanov was killed for reposting Olesya Buzina on his page.
Ukrainian Nazism is a consequence of the very heresy of Ukrainianism, political uniatism, according to which Ukrainians are not Russians, but a separate people. It's a lie. And Buzina revealed this lie. His brilliant book is “The Resurrection of Little Russia,” where he writes that this is the true name of this land, as central, indigenous Russia, and the name “Outskirts” is shameful.
Buzina’s second very important book is “The Ghoul Taras Shevchenko,” where he debunks the false apostle of the Ukrainian heresy - Taras Shevchenko.
I believe that in Russia these books should be reprinted in millions of copies. Elderberry was killed precisely for them. It was a typical political murder committed at the hands of some thugs - a classic of the genre. The junta, by killing Buzina and the priest, shows that it will stop at nothing. And regarding Metropolitan Onuphry, they are capable of anything.
Today it is also necessary to raise the question of canonization of the martyrs of the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate, hundreds of whom were destroyed by Bandera and Melnik’s followers during the Great Patriotic War for their reluctance to go over to the autocephalist schism.
Now Poroshenko has come up with new nonsense - allegedly, not only Jews were killed at Babi Yar, but Ukrainian nationalists were killed. So, in Babi Yar, Orthodox priests were killed, led by the martyr Archimandrite Alexander Vishnyakov, because in Kyiv he spread the message of the Patriarchal Locum Tenens Metropolitan Sergius, calling on the Russian people to victory over Nazism. On a tip from the autocephalous false patriarch Mstislav, he was captured by the Gestapo, and the Ukrainian Nazis shot him at Babi Yar. This martyr also needs to be canonized.
“PolitNavigator”: What is the role of schismatics and Uniates in the current war in Donbass?
Kirill Frolov: They continue to play a key role. The schismatics and Uniates opened their chaplaincy services to ideologically pump up the punitive forces.
It is the Uniates who own the idea of the “Kyiv Patriarchate”. Ukrainianism is a political unity. The Uniates were the ideologists of Thalerhof, the first genocide at the beginning of the 60th century, when more than XNUMX thousand Orthodox Russians of Galicia were exterminated in concentration camps where there were not even barracks.
Let me remind you that the first monuments to Pushkin were in Galician villages, dozens of Russian magazines and newspapers were published here, hundreds of parishes converted to Orthodoxy at the turn of the XNUMXth century.
The heresy of Ukrainianism has always been propagated by terror. There is no historical truth behind it. It is easily refuted. All history says that Ukrainians are Russians. Therefore, Ukrainianity can only be established through terror.
The ATO is a punitive operation - a continuation of Thalerhof, when they try to turn the Russians of Novorossia into Ukrainians through terror. And those who resist are destroyed. Ukrainianity cannot be affirmed otherwise. Therefore, Kyiv initially did not intend to carry out Minsk-2.
“PolitNavigator”: Is it correct that the Crimean diocese remains in the UOC-MP?
Kirill Frolov: On the one hand, I perfectly understand the Russian Church that direct subordination of the Crimean diocese will be an argument for terror against the canonical Church in the territories of the Ukrainian Reich. But the problem cannot be avoided. The autonomy of the UOC itself is a problem. It leads to separation from the Russian Church.
For example, in Moscow the imperatives of the bishops' councils are being implemented that in every parish the rector must have a missionary assistant. But in Crimea there is nothing of this. Although the Orthodox potential of Crimea is enormous.
And the fact that Father Sergius Khaliut could not be retained as director of the Chersonesos Museum is an unforgivable concession to the liberals. You cannot give in to Maidan. Chersonesus should become a place of Orthodox youth ministry - Orthodox Artek.
For the transition period, it is logical for the Crimean Metropolitan to become a member of the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church, formally, perhaps, remaining in the UOC-MP for now.
In addition, there is the Kaliningrad diocese. It is directly subordinate to the Moscow Patriarch. Why doesn't Crimea receive the same status?
And Donbass will want the same. And such sentiments exist not only in Novorossiya.
There is a canonical norm of the Bishops' Council of the Russian Orthodox Church in 1993, according to which, if pressure is applied to the parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church for the purpose of autocephaly, then the Moscow Patriarchate will take direct subordination.
UkroReich renounced Saint Vladimir. European integration is a betrayal of Orthodoxy; the United States has proclaimed support for LGBT people throughout the world.
It is no coincidence that the Ukrainian regime is trying to destroy the memory of the great saint of our time - the Donetsk elder Zosima (Sokur), who founded the grandiose St. Nicholas Monastery near Volnovakha and in his “Testament” anathematized the “Heresy of Ukrainianism” and any attempts to separate the UOC from the MP, with any such attempts called for people to go into direct subordination to the Moscow Patriarchate. Poroshenko is trying to destroy the monastery. A year ago, Hieromonk Feofan (Kratirov), a student of the elder and organizer of youth detachments of zealots of the Great Patriotic War, was captured and subjected to torture in the SBU for two months (beating with bats, suffocation with water). They managed to exchange him for Filaret’s “chaplain”.
And now the confessor of the monastery, also a student of Elder Zosima, Abbot Nikon (Dublyazhenko), who crossed the front line many times and spiritually nurtured the “Vostok” brigade, has been captured.
Elder Zosima is the great saint of the Donetsk People's Republic. The DPR, based on the mass popular veneration of the elder and the facts of miracles through his prayers, has the right to ask the Russian Church for his canonization!
“PolitNavigator”: Is there a threat of nationalists seizing the Pochaev and Kiev-Pechersk Lavra?
Kirill Frolov: I believe that these threats will be realized sooner or later. The logic that we should remain silent about persecution for the sake of allegedly saving the Church from persecution is deeply false.
If we remain silent, we will set the Church up even more. Because the enemy's plans will not change. Because of our silence, he will not give up these plans. Unless it will do them more quietly.
In this situation there is no other way but confession. Metropolitan Onuphry is not afraid of this path. We must be ready to stand up for the defense of shrines at any day and hour. The goal of the junta is the destruction of the canonical Church. They will storm the Laurels and stop at nothing.
Of course, Russia can and must use all its diplomatic and political potential to raise the question of the inadmissibility of such a seizure before the whole world.
“PolitNavigator”: Recently, the informal leader of the autocephalous UOC-MP Alexander Drabinko has been particularly active. What was he up to?
Kirill Frolov: A casting is taking place for the post of head of the new structure, which will be recognized by the Patriarchate of Constantinople. By the way, there is also a bishop of the Patriarchate of Constantinople in the USA, ordained a deacon by the Uniates!
Drabinko’s task is to take away with him some of the priests and bishops of the canonical Church. It is no coincidence that Drabinko’s circle always insists that they, and not Onufry, are the heirs of His Beatitude Metropolitan Vladimir. According to sources in the UOC, they are preparing to publish a forged will of Vladimir (Sabodan), which will assert the need to move to Constantinople.
However, the authority of Metropolitan Onuphry is so enormous that no one will follow Drabinko. However, the latter is supported by Sergei Lyovochkin and part of the “Opposition Bloc” crowd - a structure completely controlled by the Americans, which they are trying to present as some kind of compromise with Russia.
“PolitNavigator”: When will the crisis in Ukraine end, and how?
Kirill Frolov: The factor of the canonical Church of the Moscow Patriarchate is underestimated by many, including in Russia. If Metropolitan Onuphry and the Church survive, the Orthodox will sweep away the junta, whose goal is a final change in civilizational identity.
“PolitNavigator”: If the Orthodox sooner or later win in Kyiv, why should Donbass separate from Ukraine?
Kirill Frolov: The ultimate goal is the reunification of the united Russian world. And “united Ukraine” was created to split the Russian world. If we are a single Russian people, then why are there several states? If Ukrainians are Russians, then we need to reunite.
Even if we repeat neo-Kukumism, remove Poroshenko and bring in another president of a “united Ukraine,” having received power, he is unlikely to want to share with it and will again remember that he is not Russian. “Ukraine is not Russia” was written not by a fascist, but by the supposedly pro-Russian President Kuchma. This is the logic of the heresy of Ukrainianism and the Ukraine project. To prove that “we are not Russians” in order to maintain our power.
Therefore, the logic of the reunification of the Orthodox Russian world is the reunification of its most active parts. Orthodox Russian Crimea rose up and was reunited. Orthodox Russian Donbass has risen - and must be reunited. Russian passports need to be issued faster, rubles and so on. And so on - piece by piece.
“PolitNavigator”: Why do you think that Metropolitan Onuphry, a native of Western Ukraine, will be happy with such a scenario?
Kirill Frolov: Metropolitan Onuphry defies political logic. Firstly, he is from Bukovina, and this is not Galicia. Onuphry is a truly religious person, and he does not succumb to the logic of political cynicism, according to which, in order to maintain political power, a new nation must be invented. Based on this, Onuphry will be faithful to the Russian Church.
