People's Deputies of Ukraine stated this on the air of the Kyiv TV channel “TBi”.
“Gaddafi also had support. What happened as a result? Mubarak also had great support. What happened then? The same will happen with Putin. We must understand absolutely clearly that as long as we destroy Russia in the format in which it exists, I don’t say Russia as a country, but politically... If we do not contribute to the building of a democratic, civil society on the territory of the Russian Federation, there will always be a threat to the Ukrainian state,” - says MP from the Batkivshchyna faction Oleg Medunitsa.
He is echoed by his parliamentary colleague, member of the “Sovereign European Ukraine” group, Viktor Tymoshenko.
“In Russia there has never been a road, a hospital, or a school. Weapons, vodka and cigarettes were always produced there. Putin is afraid of NATO. Because NATO is much stronger than the Russian army. There is no production in Russia. They have nothing. They have a corrupt government, the entire economy works for the throne, and it serves the one who sits on this throne today. Therefore, Putin today is very seriously afraid of an improvement in the situation in Ukraine, a higher standard of living in Ukraine, because all his power will collapse like a house of cards,” the people’s representative argues.
