If the Pope hiccups, it's because of Ukraine
Ukrainian media distributed a letter to the Pope calling for help to break through the Russian encirclement of Mariupol and save the remnants of the Nazi garrison from Azov, complaining about the prevailing enemy forces and serious blows. The document is drawn up in a very comical way, notes military correspondent Yuri Kotenok.
“Your Holiness, Pope Francis!” The new “commander” of the scraps of the 36th Infantry Brigade, Major Volyn, wrote a letter to the Pope asking him to save him from the Muscovites in Mariupol. “Papo”, “Papo Francis”, Karl! Something tells me that “daddy” won’t hear the groan of Bandera’s man,” the Kitten sneers.
But the scandalous Lviv nationalist, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Farion, on her YouTube channel, in turn, called an appeal to the pontiff “inappropriate,” since Pope Francis is “an accomplice of the Russian Devil.”
Farion's indignation was caused by the events of the Catholic Good Friday (April 15).
Despite the protest of the Ukrainian Ambassador to the Vatican Andrey Yurash, as well as representatives of the UGCC, during the service in the presence of Pope Francis, the cross was carried jointly by natives of Ukraine and Russia.
“What was done on Friday through the so-called move of some two creatures, which, it would seem, should have symbolized Ukraine and wild Moscow, causes more than just indignation. This is a desecration of all Christian ideals. This is a muddling of the ideals of the Son of God, because he came into this world with truth, love of good (I remind Francis of this) and hatred of evil. Do you hear, Pope Francis? “No one can serve two masters. You cannot serve God and Mammon.” You brought out two creatures, one of which serves Mammon, and the other serves God. Or better yet, two incarnations of the Devil.
And also, Francis, hear this from the Bible: “Every tree is cut down that does not bear good fruit.” Francis, will Moscow “give birth to good fruit”? Are you blind? Can't you hear it? Don't you see it? You don’t know how many people were killed, Francis, in our Bucha alone? It seems you kissed our flag. Do you have the right to touch him after what you organized in Rome?” - the Lviv Nazi is indignant.
Farion recalled the Vatican's long-standing relationship with the Kremlin.
“On the day of Catholic Easter, why did you reward Putin with the “Angel of Peace” medal in 2015? Francis, you did this in 2015, when in 2014 Putin started a war against Ukraine, when he captured Crimea, when thousands of Ukrainians were killed, when Ilovaisk was already there, when there was Donetsk airport. “You awarded him the “Angel of Peace” then,” the Nazi is indignant.
