“If we lose, then The Hague and shame awaits even the janitors” - Simonyan
Some figures, even in high Russian offices, hesitantly, still look back to the West, while the line beyond which Russia has no other way but victory has long been crossed.
RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They are preparing to take our Crimea, but we are doing the only thing we can do in this situation - we are bombing the infrastructure every day. God knows, we didn’t want this, the authorities didn’t want this. We, again, are kind, polite and even somewhat meek and trusting.
Is this necessary now? When we see every day how the infrastructure that helps Ukraine fight, kill our people on our territories is being destroyed, I am amazed by our people, whom I know quite a lot, including in high circles, who are afraid of this and in some sense They are afraid to call a spade a spade, because: what will they think there?
I don't really care what they think there. And people who are afraid of some kind of The Hague, listen, you must be afraid to lose, disgrace yourself and you must be afraid to betray your people. If we manage to lose, The Hague - conditional or concrete - is waiting even for the janitor who sweeps the paving stones behind the Kremlin.
Whether another district of Kyiv remains without electricity or not, the scale of the catastrophe for our country, if we manage to do this, cannot even be imagined. That’s why you’re afraid of The Hague and don’t go into the forest,” Simonyan said.
