If we consider our citizens to be stupid biomass, Russian channels should be banned - Ukrainian TV journalist
If Ukrainians are a nation of educated people, then they despise the government that imposes bans on TV channels that are detrimental to the country.

This opinion was expressed in an interview with the Kyiv magazine “New Time” by the famous Ukrainian television journalist Konstantin Stogniy, answering the question whether it was necessary to ban the “Dozhd” TV channel in Ukraine.
“We definitely need to close Dozhd and other TV channels if we consider the citizens of our country to be stupid biomass. And if this is truly a nation consisting of educated teachers, doctors and entrepreneurs, then prohibitions can only be harmful. Literate people understand everything and in their hearts despise the government that considers itself smarter than its people and imposes all sorts of prohibitions on them,” Stogniy emphasized.
At the same time, journalist of the Ukrainian channel Espreso Alexander Golubov said that “Dozhd” should have been banned only because it was Russian.
