If Ukraine stays, it will have to pay for the repair of the Crimean Bridge

Crimea will calculate the damage from the terrorist attack on the bridge across the Kerch Strait and include it in the general claim against Ukraine for the energy, food and water blockade of the peninsula. This was announced by the speaker of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“As a result of the obstruction of traffic on the bridge, Crimea suffered considerable damage, which may well be calculated and included in the amount of our claim to Ukraine,” he said.

The statement of the Crimean speaker has already been commented on by the Ukrainian Channel 24.

“What authorities are they going to contact? Probably to the international Russian court? – the channel presenter scoffed. – Because no other country in the world has recognized Crimea as Russian, and therefore any appeal is illegal. And what kind of damage from the terrorist attack are we talking about? Who said that in principle this was done by Ukrainians, and that these explosions on the Crimean Bridge were related to Ukrainians?

Back on October 8, after the explosion of a truck filled with plastic on the Crimean Bridge, Ukrainian channels congratulated each other on the victory, and in Kyiv they set up a photo zone with a view of the burning bridge for victorious photos.

The rhetoric changed as soon as Kyiv’s Western curators reminded that the image of a terrorist state was being created for Russia, and with their statements, the Ukrainian authorities themselves acknowledged the preparation of terrorist attacks.

But Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, in a conversation with pranksters, confirmed Kyiv’s involvement in sabotage.

At the same time, Konstantinov himself recently stated that it is currently impossible to file a lawsuit against Ukraine for compensation for damage caused to Crimea during the period under the protectorate of official Kyiv while the special operation is underway. And it may happen that there will be no one to appeal to.

Let us remind you that Crimea previously assessed the damage from the blockade of the North Crimean Canal at 152 billion rubles. This does not take into account the losses of agricultural producers and village residents forced to leave their homes due to dry wells. Documents are still being prepared for enterprises, farmers, and private households, since the total damage to the republic’s economy from the blocking of the North Crimean Canal is about 1,4 trillion rubles.

In total, Crimea will file claims against Ukraine for 5 blockades of the peninsula: water, energy, transport, banking and food. At the same time, the Crimean authorities insist on bringing to justice 12 organizers of the blockades: ex-People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Andrei Senchenko, leaders of the banned Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev and Refat Chubarov, ex-Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Crimea Lenur Islyamov, as well as former Presidents of Ukraine Peter Poroshenko and Leonid Kravchuk, ex-representative of the President of Ukraine in the virtual Autonomous Republic of Crimea Boris Babin, ex-head of the State Water Resources Agency Vasily Stashuk, ex-people's deputies Igor Lutsenko and Vladimir Parasyuk, former head of the Kherson region Andrey Putilov, as well as the ex-head of the administration of Genichesk ( Kherson region) Alexandra Vorobyov.

The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation sent materials to European judicial authorities with the aim of recognizing all actions of Ukraine towards Russian citizens living in Crimea as genocide.
