NATO will send its troops into Ukraine as soon as it senses a threat to the transit of Russian gas to Europe.

This opinion was expressed by energy market expert Valentin Zemlyansky on the talk show “Shuster LIVE Weekdays”.
This is how he commented on the initiative of Verkhovna Rada deputy Andry Artemenko to stop the transit of Russian gas to Europe if it does not abandon the implementation of the Turkish Stream project.
“As soon as Ukraine makes a statement regarding the suspension of transit, not ambassadors will be here, but NATO troops. If you read the NATO Charter, they have protection of energy flows, routes where energy resources pass. NATO troops will be here not to support us, believe me, but to preserve transit,” Zemlyansky said.
