“If Yulia passes, Poroshenko has only one option left - to disrupt the elections” - expert
Regardless of the outcome of the election, Petro Poroshenko will continue to undermine the situation in Ukraine.
Ukrainian political scientist Yuri Romanenko stated this on his YouTube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If Yulia passes, Pyotr Alekseevich has only one option left - to disrupt the elections, and he is preparing for this, it seems to me. Pluck them between the first and second rounds. Start dragging out the situation, not recognizing the election results through the courts, because, for example: “It will be impossible to establish the results” - because there are many violations, they have already worked hard on this. For example, the Central Election Commission did not allow candidates to be numbered on the ballots, and people will simply get confused: Yuriy Tymoshenko, Yulia Tymoshenko, and so on. Accordingly, when mines are laid, they explode: the second server, the decision of the Central Election Commission on the lack of numbering - a lot of things. Therefore, I think that if Pyotr Alekseevich flies, then I think that he will drown in ships. This is the first step. Second, he will play on fear. He will try to pull in the ATO officers, the military, and say that “the military will not accept any other commander-in-chief” through their lips.
Let's imagine that Poroshenko won, the worst option. What changes occur after this? He finds himself trapped in his own demagoguery, because victory with weak legitimacy is obviously strained, that this is the choice of a minority, that everything is suppressed. Therefore, Pyotr Alekseevich immediately finds himself in limbo, because there is a limited set of opportunities, support, a new crisis approaches - and the president finds himself with a minimum number of trump cards in his hands.
Pyotr Alekseevich, it seems to me, will have a lot of problems and he will have to complete the logic that he started. That is, go into authorization, anachronization, drag out the “movie, vira” to the end, and so on,” he explained.
“The question arises as to how sustainable and favorable this regime will be. It will definitely be unfavorable. If Pyotr Alekseevich is already doing this at the end of his term, then imagine what he will do now if he wins. He’ll just sit on his head and give us all shit. Therefore, a weak design, an authoritarian design. Of course, this is not the Putin regime. In principle, everything they are trying to do now is a “quasi-Putin regime.” Why "quasi-"? Because there are not so many resources, only the desire to rule like Putin. But when you don’t have so many resources, such a vertical and loyalty - this is Ukraine, the Putin regime will not be here. It is only possible if Putin takes over everything. Therefore, they will use fear, escalate it, and, by the way, Vladimir Vladimirovich completely plays along with them. What happened yesterday with Boyko and Medvedchuk, who went to Moscow and very technically hit the post, because, in my opinion, it was too obvious to play along for Pyotr Alekseevich,” Romanenko summed up.
Let us remind you that according to the latest sociology, candidate Vladimir Zelensky takes first place in the second round. Yulia Tymoshenko and Petro Poroshenko, who is slightly behind her, are fighting for second place and access to the second round.
