Ukrainian nationalists, who have learned well how to overthrow the government, are keeping the new President Vladimir Zelensky on a “short leash.”
The leader of the Essence of Time movement, publicist Sergei Kurginyan, stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Mr. Yarosh said that Ukraine, over 700 years of colonial slavery, has lost the ability to build a state, but has learned well how to overthrow power. Therefore, if Mr. Zelensky even twitches anywhere to the side, he will not only be overthrown, he will hang from some tree. This was stated calmly and confidently on behalf of this active minority.
On the one hand, Mr. Zelensky is limited by this active minority, which does not know how to build power, but knows how to overthrow, and everyone understands this. It is clear who is behind this. This means that he cannot move in this direction (establishing relations with Russia – editor’s note),” Kurginyan noted.
In his opinion, Zelensky left the fate of Donbass to the nationalists.
“Then the question arises about the so-called elite sovereignty, this is the worst thing. There are certain zones of untouchability: “You do whatever you want here, here. I’m not here, you decide for yourself.” Everything regarding the problem of the civil war with Donbass... it is left to those who are fighting there. This is a kind of payoff system: you do whatever you want there. Accordingly, he does not interfere there, and they do what they want there,” the expert added.
