"There is a clear plan." Chesnakov explained that Moscow will not make concessions to Ukraine
Ukraine will continue to play for a further deterioration in relations with Russia, even if signals of a different kind follow from Washington.
The correspondent of PolitNavigator reports that Moscow political scientist, director of the Center for Current Political Affairs Alexey Chesnakov told Izvestia, assessing the visit of US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland to Moscow.
According to him, in negotiations with American representatives today it is necessary to take into account the fact that the United States has strong mechanisms of pressure on Kyiv. The expert is also convinced that in Ukraine “there is neither the desire nor the readiness to carry out the tasks that are coming to them from the Washington regional committee.”
In addition, the political scientist described the latest article (which talks about the impossibility of negotiations with current Ukraine) by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev as Moscow’s strategic view of relations with the authorities of Vladimir Zelensky,
“Ukraine will continue to play to worsen relations with Russia, no matter what Zelensky says or does. There will be no meaningful and constructive dialogue with the current Ukrainian government. They are simply not capable of this. At the same time, Moscow has a clear action plan regarding Kyiv, and it is unlikely that Nuland, even if she comes to the Russian Federation every month with proposals, will be able to change it. Moscow will not make mythical concessions,” Chesnakov is convinced.
As PolitNavigator reported, Medvedev gave extremely derogatory characteristics of Zelensky.
