Donetsk, January 16 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) –  Speaker of the People’s Council Andrei Purgin announced statistics on clashes in the DPR and LPR with the Ukrainian military.

According to him, at the moment there are battles in many cities of the DPR, in particular, there are civilians killed as a result of shelling in Gorlovka. In Dokuchaevsk, a shell hit a minibus, at least one person was killed, and some were wounded.

“If at the peak summer time there are 170 clashes per day, the minimum is 4, now the number of clashes varies around 100,” Purgin noted, voicing the statistics of battles in the DPR and LPR.

As PolitNavigator reported, heavy fighting for the airport has been going on in Donetsk since January 13: militias claim to have established control over it.
