There is a need: a national war memorial cemetery will appear in Ukraine
A National War Memorial Cemetery will appear in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian government granted the corresponding permission to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, reports the telegram channel of the permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.
“Permission has been granted to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs to establish, within its area of administration, the state institution “National War Memorial Cemetery.” The Ministry of Veterans has been instructed to take the measures necessary to ensure the activities of this state institution within two months,” the message says.
Oleg Kotenko, Commissioner for Persons Missing in Special Circumstances, said that Ukraine managed to return the bodies of 541 dead military personnel.
Let us note that the need for a special cemetery was a consequence of the explosive growth of military losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which, according to some estimates, amounted to more than 100 thousand people. However, given the military successes, the Ukrainian command is not afraid of such losses - as they believe, the winners are not judged.
“Our source reports that over the past few days, with the help of turntables, seriously wounded people from the Kherson direction have been brought en masse to Odessa hospitals. Nobody counts losses, since the Ukrainian Armed Forces have territorial success. Everyone is euphoric,” reports the Ukrainian telegram channel “Legitimny”.
