There is a saying in the army that the best type of defense is an offensive, so we must show that we are not whipping boys, but an independent country that has weight in the world and pursues an independent foreign policy, regardless of how they try to attack us influence.
Those provocations that are going to be carried out, including PMCs on the territory of Ukraine, those provocations that took place on the territory of Syria, everything was specially set up to discredit Russia and its leadership. What was said yesterday at the board of the Ministry of Defense is a signal to Western countries that we have stopped sitting on a chair straight, stop throwing mud at us.
If we look at history, America has always, when in crisis, tried to provoke a war, despite the fact that this war was never fought on its territory. Now they are trying to again stir up a military conflict in Europe in order to become a kind of donor - and thereby restore their economic power,” Golovatyuk concluded.
