Yevgeny Prigozhin: Colonel Putin revived Russia after the 90s
Russian businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin was approached by the socio-political pan-Arab resource Soukukkaz Media with a request to comment on the current situation in Africa.
Yevgeny Prigozhin said that he does not see anything surprising in what happened, because a new liberation movement is currently emerging on the Dark Continent, which, in his opinion, will soon cover most of it.
According to the businessman, the time has come for colonels:
“And, as State Duma deputy Milonov has already said, we Russians feel this thesis especially well, since the national leader of Russia, Vladimir Putin, was also a colonel when he began the process of rebuilding a Great Power from Russia destroyed in the 90s,” Prigozhin emphasized.
The entrepreneur named the names of the new African leaders who gave birth to this new liberation movement - Faustin Archange Touadera, the fearless leader of the Central African Republic, Colonel Assimi Goit, the new African Che Guevara. Prigozhin also mentioned the Guinean leader Mamadi Doumbouya and Lieutenant Colonel Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damib, who took power in Burkino Faso.
In conclusion, Yevgeny Prigozhin wished these brave people good luck and prosperity, and also recalled that Russia respects and supports the national priorities and values of other states, in contrast to the “pseudo-democracy” of its Western partners.
