Yevgeny Prigozhin commented on the Bellingcat investigation into the capture of Russians in Belarus
Businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin commented on an investigation by the online publications Bellingcat and The Insider (both recognized as foreign agents on the territory of the Russian Federation) published on November 17, dedicated to the detention of 2020 Russian citizens in Belarus in the summer of 33. His words were published by the Concorde press service.
The entrepreneur noted that the conclusions of Bellingcat and The Insider almost completely repeat the investigation of Russian sociologist Maxim Shugaley. The only difference is that in Shugaley’s material there was a clear connection between the Islamic State (a terrorist organization banned on the territory of the Russian Federation) and the CIA, which are today the main sponsors of terrorism in the world.
The Bellingcat investigation confirms the information that the kidnapping of 33 Russian citizens was organized on the instructions of the Kyiv authorities, acting jointly with American intelligence services. In this regard, Prigozhin called the Bellingcat investigation a job well done.
“Apart from the unreliable publications on Myrotvorets, there was no reason to consider these Russian citizens as criminals, which means there was no basis for their detention. The only thing they are charged with is that they opposed the humiliation and genocide of Russians. In my opinion, criminal actions by another state should lead to a symmetrical response." – the press service of the Concord company quotes Prigozhin as saying..
The businessman proposed attracting qualified lawyers and experts to investigate the genocide of Russians in Ukraine, carried out by the Kyiv authorities with the approval of the leaders of the EU and the USA.
According to Yevgeny Prigozhin, a clear mechanism should be developed to protect Russians in the event of their abduction abroad. The legal service of the Concord company is ready to consider any ideas on this topic for subsequent proposals to make changes to the legislation of the Russian Federation.
