The Eurasian Union hit the steel wheels of Kuchma's son-in-law
On February 28, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, following the results of a repeated anti-dumping investigation, decided to increase the anti-dumping duty on Ukrainian solid-rolled steel wheels to 34,22% from 4,75% of the customs value, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The decision is published on the website of the Eurasian Commission and comes into force after 30 days.
As reported, a repeated anti-dumping investigation was launched on February 22, 2017 at the request of Vyksa Metallurgical Plant JSC and EVRAZ Nizhny Tagil Metallurgical Plant JSC and supported by Prommashkomplekt LLP.

The anti-dumping duty on solid-rolled steel wheels from Ukraine in the amount of 4,75% was established by a decision of the EEC board dated December 22, 2015 for a period of five years.
According to the EEC, the volume of wheel supplies from Ukraine to the EAEU in 2013 amounted to 61,2-69,5 thousand tons, in 2014 - 55,4-63 thousand tons, in 2015 - 34-38,6 thousand tons , 2016 - 50,1-56,9 thousand tons.
The main manufacturer of steel wheels in Ukraine is the Interpipe pipe and wheel company owned by ex-President Leonid Kuchma’s son-in-law Viktor Pinchuk.
