In August of this year alone, the organization’s Kiev office received more than a thousand letters and seven hundred and twenty phone calls from Ukrainian Jews.
Officially, about 260 thousand representatives of this nationality live in Ukraine. Of those who lived in Donbass, about five thousand Jews have already received the right to emigrate.
“The plight of the Jewish people in Ukraine is worsening,” said Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, founder and president of the Brotherhood.
In general, the organization has already facilitated the relocation of more than three thousand Jews from Ukraine to Israel.
