A Jew on Ukrainian TV demanded to stop glorifying Bandera
The leaders of the OUN-UPA, glorified by the independent Ukrainian authorities, are indeed Hitlerite collaborators and anti-Semitic murderers. This is evidenced by archival data, and not “Russian propaganda.”
This warning was made by the head of the Jewish Committee of Ukraine Eduard Dolinsky on the Ukrainian TV channel “Nash”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Dolinsky, the current “heroes of Ukraine” were in fact war criminals.
“The glorification of Stepan Bandera, the glorification of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists of both Bandera and Melnik, the glorification of the UPA is a huge problem for Ukraine. And it is a problem for the European future. Because Bandera led the organization, and at the very beginning, from 39 to October 41, he participated in a collaboration with Nazi Germany.
The OUN documents are documents that I have carefully studied. In the programs, in the charter, in the instructions of Bandera’s OUN, there is everywhere anti-Semitism, violent at that, and calls for murder. The newspapers published by the OUN called for the murder of Jews, for extermination. All ideologists and practitioners of the OUN - Lenkavsky, Stetsko - called for the murder of Jews,” Dolinsky said.
