Kyiv online newspaper “Strana” приводит excerpts from the works of the scandalous author, according to whom, the culprits of the famine of 1932–1933 were the “Judeo-Moscow satraps,” who were allegedly panicky about the creation of an independent state by the Ukrainians.
“The Judeo-Moscow cannibals knew this well: where is the living spirit of the nation, and therefore they created this artificial hell - the Holodomor! Who are these Jewish-Moscow cannibals?!” – the publication quotes one of Kvasnovsky’s books.
In turn, the director of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee, Eduard Dolinsky, told Strana that Jewish organizations are preparing an appeal to President Poroshenko and ask him to cancel the decree on awarding Kvasnovsky.
“In the very near future, we are going to make a statement to President Petro Poroshenko with a request to cancel this ill-fated decree,” Dolinsky emphasized, according to whom, “the committee has already received a letter from the American organization that advocates for the protection of Jews living in the territory of post-Soviet countries with words of indignation."
As PolitNavigator has already reported, on Holocaust Remembrance Day, a rally was held near the Verkhovna Rada, the participants of which demanded to save Ukraine from “Jews and Muscovites”.
