Ukraine's European integration is stained with blood
For Ukrainian society, it has already become the norm for radicals to impose their will and physically abuse people who dare to express an alternative point of view.
This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by the deputy head of the Smart Power party, Alexander Savchenko, who recently brutally beaten by neo-Nazis from the C14 group at a party meeting, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, while the country is immersed in violence, there can be no talk of any “European integration”.
“The point is that it is no longer just some kind of message being conveyed in society, but that it has already become the norm, when some people in military uniform can attack any person, any organization, any shopping center, independently, without any reason prerequisites, close, beat, impose some kind of prohibitions. This puts an end to the European path that we have. Strange as it may seem, when they beat me, blood flowed and dripped onto the posters that relate to the European integration of Ukraine,” Savchenko said.
The politician also emphasized that law enforcement officers, who are obliged to fulfill their functions of protecting the population, actually use radicals for their own purposes.
“Now there is a clearly visible trend when security agencies or the state shift responsibility from themselves to the forceful resolution of any conflicts,” Savchenko added.
