The European Commissioner in Ukrainian invited Ukrainians to go to Europe without visas, but did not promise money
European Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship Avramopoulos congratulated the Ukrainians on the approval by the EU Council of a visa-free regime and invited them to Europe in Ukrainian.

“Dear citizens of Ukraine, today has become a cornerstone for Ukraine and its citizens. Visa liberalization has been approved by the member states... Very soon, Ukrainian citizens will be able to travel visa-free to the EU. We are all part of a big European family,” the European Commissioner noted.
At the end of the address, Avramopoulos invited citizens of Ukraine to Europe in Ukrainian.
“Welcome to Europe,” the European Commissioner added in Ukrainian.
Let us remind you that today, May 11, the Council of Ministers of the European Union approved the final decision on granting Ukrainian citizens the right to visa-free travel to EU countries.
