– A huge manipulation took place in our country after the coup. Having promised Europe, European values, lace panties and everything else, we are going nowhere, and life is getting worse and worse,” Vilkul said.
“I now, Mr. Alexander, urge you to apologize to the relatives of the heroes of the “heavenly hundred”, to the Ukrainians for calling the Maidan a coup,” Vilkul’s parliamentary colleague Dmitry Dobrodomov was indignant.
– A revolution of dignity – a coup! – Rada deputy Victoria Ptashnik added indignantly.
– Let's focus on the issues that people need. But people need peace, they don’t need the issues that are dividing our country. You started this war, and people like you don’t want to end it; the people who make money from it and are parasites don’t want to end the war. Therefore, this parliament needs to be dispersed,” Vilkul continued.
– Either the person apologizes, or he leaves, or you turn off his microphone, but I, for example, cannot sit and calmly continue the discussion after a person called the Maidan, where hundreds of people died, a coup. I also consider the current government to be the worst monsters, but this does not mean that the Maidan was a coup. These are completely different things - holy (!!! – approx. ed.) Maidan and the fact that then the oligarchs fooled the people and came to power,” threatened Rada deputy Tyahnibokovite Yuri Levchenko.
– Alexander, if you mean in your words that scoundrels took advantage of the results of the revolution, then this is what needs to be said. But, excuse me, if you think that this was a coup, then I cannot detain you,” broadcaster Alexei Likhman nodded towards the door.
“You can’t call this revolution a coup just because Yanukovych says so,” deputy Sergei Kaplin added his remark.
“Either he apologizes, or we leave - there are no other options, choose for yourself,” former Right Sector speaker, parliamentarian Borislav Bereza concluded the discussion.
– There are different assessments in our society, this is the first thing. If we want to unite society, we need to find what unites it and not divides it. Secondly, we, in fact, treat Yanukovych, who turned out to be a cowardly traitor, even worse than you. And if Yanukovych says that this is a coup, then I agree - this is a revolution. Just for this reason,” Vilkul tried to satisfy his opponents.
However, the Maidan deputies were not satisfied with this answer - they kept their promise and left the program ahead of schedule.
