Activists, led by well-known public figure of Automaidan and Euromaidan Mark Gordienko, loudly expressed their complaints that the channel, in their opinion, disseminates materials with separatist content.
Mutual accusations were supplemented by other claims from Euromaidan supporters, who, by tradition, zealously criticize MP Sergei Kivalov, who is associated with the internal politics of the Academy channel.
As a result, Euromaidan supporters were forced to leave with nothing. They were never able to provide specific materials documenting programs in which the Academy promotes separatism. In turn, the director of the Academy channel, Yulia Nikandrova, invited Mark Gordienko to the Academy broadcast to show the openness of this channel to different points of view. In addition, Nikandrova indirectly linked the appearance of the Euromaidan group led by Gordienko with the order of the ex-governor of the Odessa region Vladimir Nemirovsky, aimed at depriving the channel of its license.
As a result, the unauthorized rally near the walls of Moscow State University lasted no more than 20 minutes under the watchful eye of law enforcement agencies. Ultimately, the Euromaidan group left, and an administrative protocol was drawn up against their leader for failing to notify police officers about the rally.
