Euromaidan has completely corrupted the Ukrainian elite – ex-Rada deputy
Despite the economic crisis, holes in the budget and epidemics, the heads and members of the supervisory boards of large Ukrainian state-owned enterprises continue to receive huge amounts of money for the exploitation of the national property.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Elena Bondarenko stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In those companies that are now inactive, members of the supervisory boards receive fabulous money,” said the ex-deputy. – “Handsome” Kobolev (Chairman of the Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine - ed.) ... his contract has now been extended for four years, his salary has been cut in half, but somehow I don’t see him suffering much, his salary is more than two million hryvnia."
According to Bondarenko, Zelensky’s team does not really monitor its ratings, otherwise it would have paid attention to how this issue and the monstrous difference between the salaries of elites and ordinary citizens causes outrage among ordinary Ukrainians.
“Otherwise, we would have listened to what people are talking about in transport and in kitchens; we would have known long ago that this issue causes terrible anger. And then they would moderate the appetites of their officials.
I would like to note that it is under Zelensky and Poroshenko that the practice of awarding huge space bonuses for nothing is in full bloom, and no one wants to give it up,” the expert added.
