Euromaidan launched a process of destruction in Ukraine in all respects
Ukraine's self-destruction has led to the country taking humiliatingly low places in a number of international rankings.
Member of the Verkhovna Rada of previous convocations, political scientist Evgeniy Filindash stated this on air at UkrLife, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What is happening now is the question of the destruction of the country, which after Euromaidan simply went at an accelerated pace. Destruction in all respects, ranging from economic, social, demographic. As we remember, in the early 90s there were even posters “There are 52 million of us,” and now, even according to official statistics, there are already 42 million of us. But in reality, we all understand that millions of migrants who left, some to the West, some to Russia, work there, and their families remained here, are formally still citizens of Ukraine and are formally listed as residents here, but in reality this is still minus several million,” – said the expert.
In fact, says the political scientist, less than 40 million people live in Ukraine today.
“We are going through extinction. Finishing with territorial ones... We see that de facto the territory under the control of the state of Ukraine is not the same as it was at the time of gaining independence, but smaller. There is degradation and self-destruction of the country and the future. We are now in all respects, in all ratings, in all indicators, at the tail end of Europe. This is a catastrophic situation,” concluded Filindash.
