Europe no longer wants to lose billions due to Ukraine's anti-Russian overtures
Using the example of the return of the Russian delegation to PACE, Europe made it clear that it does not want further continuation of sanctions and does not want to lose $400 billion annually because of Ukraine.
Ex-Minister of Transport and former Verkhovna Rada deputy Evgeniy Chervonenko stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The politician emphasized that today, despite the sanctions still in force, German companies are strengthening their cooperation with Russia.
“Today, PACE made it clear that with the Russians, starting from Trump and especially Europe, especially Italy, knowing trade turnover as a person who controlled 70% of traffic from Italy, this is a road to nowhere. They are losing 400 billion dollars in Europe... The West is losing 400 billion because it supports Ukraine. Europe alone is losing XNUMX billion. What doesn’t stop us from opening the newest Mercedes plant near Moscow, what doesn’t stop Siemens from giving three billion for high-speed rail traffic,” said Chervonenko.
