Europe has fooled Ukraine - in Kyiv they are calling for a new adventure
The Association Agreement with the European Union, which became the reason for the coup d'etat in Ukraine, turned out to be unfavorable for Kyiv - the EU continues to limit the access of Ukrainian goods to its market using quotas.
This was stated by deputy from the Lyashko Radical Party Viktor Galasyuk during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our team is pushing for a renegotiation of the trade agreement with the European Union. Because the quotas that are set today are absolutely meager; they are exhausted in months, and some in tens of days.
Ukrainian producers and workers in the agricultural sector are losing billions of dollars. And this is the loss of every Ukrainian, because because of this the budget is not receiving enough and the hryvnia is weakening,” he said.
However, without resolving the situation with the EU, Galasyuk invited Ukraine to get involved in another adventure - a trade war between the United States and China.
“Today, the United States and China are waging the largest war against each other in history. The global economy is undergoing tectonic changes. Ukraine can win a significant piece of the world economic pie if it does not become an observer, but pursues an active global policy,” the people’s deputy added.
