Europe did not lift sanctions against Russia

Representatives of the 28 EU countries agreed on Tuesday that despite impressive progress in bringing an end to the conflict in eastern Ukraine, Russia has not done enough to justify rolling back sanctions, EU foreign affairs spokeswoman Maya Kochanci said.
EU sanctions target sectors of the Russian economy, Russian and pro-Russian Ukrainian officials, businesses and organizations.
Kocancic said the EU will continue to monitor the situation and may make changes, suspend or lift some or all sanctions depending on developments.
