Europe turns away from the US towards Russia
Germany will become the central power of Europe, which is increasingly dissatisfied with American policies.
German political scientist Alexander Rahr stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Germany is positioning itself as a new centrist power within Europe. And it departs from the American command; we really don’t like how the Americans talked to us at the security conference, how they want to lecture us on issues of energy security,” the expert noted.
He also emphasized that one of the key issues in Germany’s new policy is cooperation and good relations with Russia.
“And Germany will be a leader within Europe, we will see whether other countries will support it or not, I think who will support it and who will not. Germany will be a leader in creating new ideas for European security, and this naturally leads to the east, to Russia, to better neighborly cooperation with Russia,” the political scientist added.
