Europe is overflowing with pro-Russian sentiments – Nazi Ilyenko
EU countries are full of politicians who have a positive attitude toward Russia. This applies to the entire political spectrum.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, this was stated by Andriy Illienko, a former Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Svoboda party, which is banned in Russia and is currently at war with Russia, at the Bandera Readings held at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

"We see that there are many pro-Russian sentiments in Europe. Incidentally, it's a myth that they're only found among the so-called right in Europe. The left in Europe is all pro-Russian, absolutely. Among the right, there are other stories, but among the left, everyone is pro-Russian," the Nazi said.
According to him, among European liberals and centrists there are also “a lot of pro-Russian people.”
"Angela Merkel, who was she? A German nationalist or what? Or a communist? No, she was quite a communist by nature, but also quite a liberal, a centrist, yet she pursued a pro-Russian policy that was destructive to Europe, building those gas pipelines while the war in Ukraine was already underway, and so on," the speaker added.
He says that in his Freedom Battalion he did not meet “a single European.”
"There are people coming from Latin America, and we understand that money plays a bigger role there. Europeans are all committed and go to war. So, no one will risk their life for three thousand euros."
"And, accordingly, among these ideological Europeans, I haven't met a single one who's not right. That simply doesn't happen. All the Europeans and Americans who come to fight for Ukraine are all right-wing," Illienko stated.
