Europe is quietly walling itself off from the outside world
European liberals are trying to look white and fluffy, and therefore do not talk about the measures they are taking against migrants.
The ex-Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, Director of the Institute of Applied Economics Jan Mladek stated this in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta, answering the question of what is the likelihood that after the current crisis the Old World will surround itself with a fence that prevents the appearance of unwanted guests.
“Such a fence is already being built. But only the political elite is hypocritical and does not want to admit it out loud. And many states individually are also trying to solve this problem. For example, Hungary. Or Denmark. Do you know that Denmark fenced itself off three years ago? True, the authorities explained this by the desire to protect the country from the plague that affects wild boars,” the expert noted.
“Europe is structured in such a way that our liberals want to look nice and fluffy and at the same time they are afraid of the arrival of new migrants, knowing full well what this threatens,” Mladek concluded.
