Many Western politicians, due to internal problems and protests, feel their position is threatened - and will try to take advantage of the war against Russia to maintain power.
Ruslan Dolgosheya, a member of the Odessa resistance since 2014, a veteran of the Northern Military District, stated this in an interview with publicist Maxim Kalashnikov, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we now take and simply destroy Ukraine, such a funny thing will happen - the EU and the so-called West will lose the need to spend huge resources on Ukraine, and will begin to spend on themselves in order to restore their own economy.
And when it is restored, there will be opposition from Russia all over the world,” Dolgosheya said.
He emphasized that European politicians may try to drag their people into this war.
“On the other hand, prolonging [the conflict in Ukraine] too long will lead to the fact that we end up with a destroyed Ukrainian economy, with an impoverished and embittered population.
And the prolongation of the internal crisis in Europe. These bloody cannibals, seeing that tomorrow they can be carried away from warm places, may try to provoke a war.
Before people tear them to pieces, they will try to drain the human material that is capable of resisting into an external war. They will gather those who are trying to resist, drive them into military registration and enlistment offices, put them in uniform, and send them off to war.
Of course, at first it will be, as Macron says, even if he introduces a small number of units that will be crushed by our artillery, there will always be people in France who will think that they need to stand up for their own, take revenge. And step by step France will be drawn into war.
As soon as there is some kind of legalization of volunteer units from Europe, part of society will begin to be drawn into the war. And it will be possible to rely on it to suppress the protest element in your country. For them, the war in Ukraine is a tool for solving their internal problems,” the veteran concluded.
