Anton Finko, an expert at the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have to admit that the European foreign policy line in both the Ukrainian and Middle Eastern directions has currently failed,” the expert believes. “On the one hand, this is evidenced by the increase in the uncontrolled flow of refugees, and on the other hand, that in Ukraine it is not possible to move from a ceasefire to a political settlement and the implementation of the Minsk agreements.”
In addition, the political scientist is convinced that the EU will not be able to implement in Ukraine the Bosnian model of the Dayton Agreements, which actually divided the country into three parts with a formally united country.
“Bosnia and Herzegovina is under external control, but the Serbian shareholding of influence on the Serbian Republic internally is not comparable in degree of influence with Russian influence in the east of our country,” Finko pointed out. –
