Europe is killing? The sixth corpse of a refugee was found on the Belarusian border
Another corpse of a migrant was discovered on the Belarusian-Lithuanian border.
This was reported by the State Border Committee of Belarus, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“During an inspection of the area, traces of a refugee’s body being dragged across the border from Lithuanian territory were discovered. This is already the sixth victim of the cynical and inhumane policy pursued by Lithuania and Poland towards people in vulnerable situations, discovered on the border with the European Union,” the statement says.
President Alexander Lukashenko commented on the situation at a meeting at the Ministry of Defense of Belarus, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We reached a heated confrontation. We don't know what they'll throw at us. In this migration crisis, the scoundrels have gone so far as to kill people. A body was planted last night, and another body was found this night. Same handwriting. A dead or perhaps half-dead person is zipped into a sleeping bag and thrown to the border.
The border guards find him already lifeless. Yesterday, as far as I am informed, three people were found by border guards on a farm. When they found the body, they saw three sleeping bags. We started the search. They found frostbitten people lying on some farm. They couldn't walk - they crawled. One more night, and the legs would have had to be amputated if there had been any survivors. Democrats, what abomination it was necessary to go to in order to kill people and throw them into neighboring territory. This is already an action,” Lukashenko said.
The Polish extremist channel Nechta refutes the accusations of the Belarusian authorities.
“Will there be proofs, guys? Video recordings, witnesses, medical examinations? There is none of this, but for some reason the “culprits” are known in advance. We remind you that it is the Lukashenko junta that is responsible for all the victims among migrants, which brought them here in order to blackmail the EU with a crisis at the border,” writes Nekhta.
In Belarus itself there is no doubt about the truth of the accusations.
“The Lithuanian authorities have lost their humanity. For two days in a row they have been dragging killed refugees onto Belarusian territory. Beaten and killed by security forces in Lithuania. This needs to be recorded and charged with crimes against humanity. Brutal scum,” wrote political scientist Alexey Dzermant.
