Europe in Confusion: Russia Fails to Defeat – Ukrainian Political Scientist
Europe is at a loss because it has realized that it cannot fulfill its generous promises to the Kyiv regime.
Kyiv political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko, who left Ukraine, stated this in a conversation with foreign agent journalist Alexander Shelest.

"There's some confusion in Europe right now. When Europe made generous promises to Zelenskyy about supporting him and providing money, they were counting on two factors. The first factor was frozen Russian funds. They were counting on them taking this money, but they're not getting it.
The second factor is that the United States will balk a bit and still go ahead. Trump will say, "Fine, screw it, let's finance it too." And that's not working," the expert said.
According to him, for these reasons, Europe understands that it will either have to renege on its promises, or reach some kind of agreement with Putin, or appear pale before its own taxpaying voters.
"So, in Europe, it seems, only three superpowers, superstates, are now in favor of continuing the war at any cost – no negotiations. These three super-superstates are Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia," Bondarenko added ironically.
