Europe, together with the Russian Federation, is tightening the gas stranglehold around Ukraine’s neck
The struggle to participate in the supply of Russian gas to Europe via a gas pipeline, which excludes Ukraine from the scheme of this export route, has intensified, writes Moskovsky Komsomolets, noting that on the eve of his visit to Russia, the head of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan made it clear that he is ready to unfreeze the Turkish Stream project, and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov said that in the near future a Russian-Bulgarian working group will emerge to revive the construction of the South Stream gas pipeline.

“This means one thing: if decisions on the creation of this or that pipe are made, then after their construction is completed, the gas pipeline system of Ukraine will be turned off from the game and Kyiv will finally collapse into the economic abyss,” the publication notes.
“If Turkey acts relatively independently in the matter of creating a pipeline (it is clear that without Russia the country is heading into a hole - a drop in tourist flows, a decrease in the export of fruits and vegetables, and so on), then Bulgaria is clearly acting at the suggestion of Brussels, and the proposal to resume negotiations on the Southern Stream” was initiated by “big brother” - the European Commission,” the publication emphasizes.
