The European Parliament has gone absolutely wild in its Russophobic rage - expert
The European Parliament today adopted a resolution on Belarus, in which it called on the European Union to impose sanctions not only against this country, but also against Russia.
This was reported by the organization’s press service, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Belarus is condemned for worsening the migration crisis on the borders of Poland, Lithuania and Latvia. The European Parliament also condemned Russian leader Vladimir Putin's support for Lukashenko and proposed additional restrictive measures against Russia.
“The next step will be to impose sanctions on Russia again. There is nothing surprising. Everything that has been happening since August last year in Belarus is dragging Russia deeper and deeper into the crisis.
The migration border collapse is a complete disaster, which shows how similar the national elites of Warsaw, Vilnius and Minsk are in their desire to drag major players into their petty conflict.
To associate Russia with such savagery is to destroy the image of a conservative, calm force that has been built over decades, confident in its own rightness,” political scientist Semyon Uralov wrote in his Telegram channel.
