After the story with Savchenko, the Europeans spat on Poroshenko - Gerashchenko
Former people's deputy Nadezhda Savchenko, who was in Russian custody, did not live up to the hopes of the Kyiv authorities and the world community.
A deputy from European Solidarity, a close ally of Petro Poroshenko, Irina Gerashchenko, stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I believe that Nadezhda Savchenko is a huge disappointment. Not only mine, but also of Ukrainian society. We and the whole world hoped that her release would mark a very important detail - she would begin to fight for the release of other prisoners. And she began to fight with Ukraine,” Gerashchenko worries.
According to her, Savchenko “created a huge negative story, disappointing society and the world, which fought so sincerely for her.”
“We then started telling [European representatives] about our other prisoners, they hid their eyes and said: “Listen, we stood with “Free Nadya” posters for three years, and then what happened?” – Poroshenko’s comrade-in-arms complained.
