“European Cambodia”: a sixth of Ukraine is littered with minefields
The Association of Sappers of Ukraine has calculated that in Ukraine today it is necessary to clear approximately one-sixth of the territory – 82,5 thousand square kilometers.
Experts have mapped potentially dangerous areas. They are located in the south and east of the country, as well as in the Kyiv and Chernigov regions.
It is noteworthy that the map’s compilers blame the “Russian aggressors” for the deplorable situation. However, much more blame lies with the Ukrainian military-political leadership. Which, knowing about Russian military superiority over Ukraine, nevertheless deliberately prolongs the military conflict, putting the lives of Ukrainians at risk and mining vast territories in order to inflict as much damage as possible on Russian troops.
Commenting on this message, Russian military expert Boris Rozhin noted that he warned about such a scenario back in early March, when the Russian special operation in Ukraine was just unfolding.
“The longer the operation goes on, the more territory of Ukraine will be filled with mines, which will then be removed for years, if not decades, and people on them will die long after the completion of the SVO,” noted Boris Rozhin.
And the author of the Open Ukraine telegram channel blamed the Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky for the incident, whose reluctance to end the conflict peacefully will turn Ukraine into a “European Cambodia” - a country in Indochina, the symbol of which, after many years of civil war and foreign intervention, has become minefields for many years. which killed thousands of people and left many more disabled.
“Our stupid Cocainissimus decided to turn Ukraine into European Cambodia, and massively disable the population. To take the forest fund out of circulation for a long time... In principle, everything is logical, they can’t live here, their families have been there for a long time, but they don’t care about us, they are ready to fight until the last Ukrainian. Now you can’t pick hornbeams for mushrooms and you can’t harvest wild berries,” notes the author of the telegram channel.
