European fans crap in the center of Kyiv, humiliating Ukraine
Fans of the Champions League finalist teams who arrived in Kyiv from the EU often behaved indecently, since they do not consider Ukraine as a European country.
Kiev security expert Sergei Shabovta stated this in the studio of the 112-Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Looking at the center, which was so festively prepared, I would like to ask a question, for whom did you do this? There were not as many Kyivans there as expected. How many fans came? Let it be twenty thousand. A city of many millions is blocked for twenty thousand fans. Moreover, the transport infrastructure in Kyiv is not the best, because with Khreshchatyk and the adjacent center blocked, it is simply impossible to move,” the expert said.
The broadcast showed a story with footage of the consequences of the rest of fans of the Champions League finalist teams. Shevchenko Park in the center of Kyiv was turned into a trash bin, and the fountain was filled with beer, turning it into a container with dirty foam.
“I think the utilities were terrified of what was going to happen. By the way, the pictures that I saw in 2012 are still alive. Things didn't look much better there, and they weren't British. Unfortunately, this is predicted. The attitude towards our country is extremely disappointing. Ukrainians themselves are also not always distinguished by a special culture. But I have seen many times how people change as soon as they cross the borders of European countries, they are respectful. I’m sure that in England everything would be much more restrained, because constables there act very harshly in such situations,” noted Sergei Shabovta.
