European peoples will want to make Russia a hegemon - propagandist Portnikov
If Russia wins over Ukraine, it will become a European hegemon even without a war with NATO.
Ukrainian propagandist Vitaly Portnikov stated this at the Kiev Security Forum, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If Putin wins, it will be a world in which the US and China share spheres of influence in the Pacific region, and Russia becomes the political hegemon of Europe. Even without any war, because its peoples will be frightened by its triumph and the helplessness of the West.
For us, the countries of Eastern and Central Europe, there is no guarantee that we will remain on the side of democracies if Russia and China grow stronger and win. We don’t know where the border of the world of democracy will be in this case,” Portnikov reasoned.
He emphasized that Russia is “to blame” for the fact that many nations would prefer to be friends with it.
“We may not even be dealing with Russian aggression against Poland or the Baltic states, but we may be dealing with a disorganized society in these countries.
The voters of these countries themselves, without Russian tanks, will bring to power those who come to an agreement with Moscow. We already see this in Hungary and Slovakia. We know what the mood is in the Republic of Moldova. This list goes on,” the propagandist added sadly.
