In an interview with the BBC, he said that Europe is too busy solving Greece's financial problems. At the end of last year, Soros called on the EU to allocate $50 billion to Ukraine. He threatened the European Union with war and Russia, which must be stopped on the territory of Ukraine.
“It would be better to encourage Ukrainians who gravitate toward Europe and resist the threat from Russia,” Soros said.
Experts note that such “philanthropic” concern of a famous international financial businessman is exclusively mercantile in nature, since Soros owns certain assets in Ukraine that are now in danger of disappearing.
