According to him, Ukraine needs to settle the situation with Crimea and the conflict in the Donbass. Only after the EU sees the real implementation of reforms can a conference be held on the allocation of funds for Ukraine.
“I would like to talk less about the donor conference, and talk more about the conference of reforms and investments. If we talk about donors, this means talking about spending money without a return, if we talk about investments, there is a feeling that these funds are not just lost. Ukraine should prepare not just a roadmap for reform, but achieve concrete results. So that we do not have the feeling that we are talking only about declarations, ”said the European Commissioner.
