The European Union stunned Ukraine with its boorish position
More and more excuses from the European Union to explain the refusal to provide Ukraine with a visa-free regime are a clear demonstration of the EU’s boorish position towards Kyiv.
Political scientist Denis Denisov stated this at a press conference in Moscow.

According to him, in the past 2016, the forecast regarding the change in Europe’s attitude towards Ukraine came true.
“When the results of the previous year, 2015, were summed up, it was quite actively said that a process of rethinking had begun on the part of European partners. The results of 2016 largely confirm this.
It must be remembered that the main negative trends in European policy towards Russia and the Donbass republics are rather derivatives of the US position. The Europeans were not a completely independent entity.
However, a number of significant events have occurred that show a change in position. Let us remember the amendment to the Association Agreement, which states that Ukraine cannot apply for membership in the EU.
The EU also does not act as a guarantor of Ukraine's security. Moreover, within the framework of the association agreement, residents of Ukraine do not receive the right to work. These are significant restrictions.
The story of the visa-free regime is already a completely boorish position - the European Union has canceled visas for Kiribati, the Solomon Islands, Micronesia, Tuvalu and the Marshall Islands. Whatever the excuses for Ukraine, the situation degrades the Ukrainian state - it is no longer even the third world, but “they dug to the bottom and began to dig further.”
Note also that there was absolutely no discussion about sanctions this year. It is almost obvious that the extension of sanctions was the last. Europe is changing. She understands that the sanctions did not fulfill any of the objectives on the basis of which they were introduced. The most important thing is that they negatively affect Europe itself. The feasibility is practically zero,” Denisov noted.
